What a night! 💥
Thank you to everyone who joined our Pop Art ArtTalk yesterday evening in Museum Ludwig.
From the cool of the museum to the warmth of your questions, conversation, and curiosity, the atmosphere was just perfect.
We wandered through the wild world of 1960s Pop—from James Rosenquist’s enormous, cinematic panorama “Star Thief” to Andy Warhol’s iconic (and surprisingly wooden) Brillo Boxes. You asked sharp questions about Tom Wesselmann’s luscious orange mounted collage and gasped at early work of the bold, Instagramable brilliance of Yayoi Kusama still creating waves at 95 years old! 🎉🎨
This was more than just an ArtTalk. It was a shared experience of color, culture, and community. And as 12 of us sat down afterwards for a cool drink, the conversations kept going, just the way I like it ✨
