Wallraf Richartz Museum
Dear ArtTalkers!
For the first time in several years, Iām inviting you all to an Wallraf ArtTalk. Now that the museumās roof is repaired, letās continue our reflections on how artists can inspire and motivate us to more positive resilience.
On the third floor, the Wallraf presents paintings by masters such as van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Gauguin, Signac, Ensor or Munch. Thanks to the Fondation Corboud, the museum boasts the most extensive collection of Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist art in Germany š²
New: Gustave Caillebotteās lush paintings are highlighted in their own individual space. The large Impressionist gallery š¼ļø is rehung and invites us to reflect on our own individual responses to the luminous landscapes that populate the walls from top to bottom.
Odion Redon an artist whose paintings weāll consider described his work so:
āMy drawings inspire, and are not to be defined.ā
Letās define how we can leverage art for inspiration and positive awareness. Once you start to notice what good and positive things surround you, you are not only in a better mood, but it is also easier for you to face new situations and other people with more positivity. Get happy with great art š
Artful wishes, from Karla
