🎉🎉^ Museum Ludwig celebrates its 50th anniversary with a BANG 💥💥💥

A largescale, major Yayoi Kusama retrospective!

Yayoi Kusama was part of the American Pop Art circle around Andy Warhol before returning to Japan and developing her unmistakable polka-dot universe.

What began as a personal struggle became a radical visual language.

Her work explores pain, repetition, love, war, and the idea that everything exists in continuous renewal.

Many works of this internationally renowned artist have not been shown before in Europe! 🤩

We’ll experience her Infinity Net paintings, her expansive immersive mirror rooms, and new works created especially for this spectacular exhibition.

Kusama is over 95 years old and still going strong - still shaping her vision 😍

But because of the expected crowds, there will be only ONE public ArtTalk in April:

  • 🗓 THURSDAY; April 2
  • 🕒 15:00 h
  • 💰 ArtTalk fee: 28 €
  • 👤Limit of 20 ArtTalkers
